Dan Carpenter kicked a 44-yard field goal 5:54 into overtime to lift the visiting Miami Dolphins to a 23-20 victory over the host Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
After the teams exchanged three-and-outs to start the overtime, Miami took the ball at its own 49-yard line and drove the ball to the Green Bay 26 before Carpenter booted the game-winning 44-yarder that sent the Packers (3-3) to their second straight overtime loss.
Carpenter hit a career-high 53-yarder to close out the first half.
Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne hit tight end Anthony Fasano with a 22-yard scoring pass with 5:29 left in the game that gave Miami a 20-13 lead, but Aaron Rodgers drove the Packers 69 yards on 12 plays, plunging over from the 1-yard line with 16 seconds remaining to force overtime.
Rodgers kept the drive alive by completing a 20-yard pass to Greg Jennings on a fourth-and-7 pass to the Miami 5.
Henne completed 23 of 39 passes for 231 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and Brandon Marshall had 10 catches for 127 yards for the Dolphins (3-2).
Rodgers was 18 of 33 for 313 yards with a TD and an interception as the Packers played back-to-back overtime contests for the first time since 1987.
Jennings had six catches for 133 yards, including an 86-yard scoring pass from Rodgers in the first quarter.
