TCU 86, New Orleans 71: Brandon Parrish went 7-of-11 from the floor for 22 points to lead the host Horned Frogs to the win.

Chris Washburn collected 14 points, eight rebounds and three blocks for TCU (3-0) and Karviar Shepherd added 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting and seven rebounds. Kenrich Williams contributed 10 points off the bench.

Kevin Brown led New Orleans (1-1) with 21 points and Terrance Syon added 15 points and a game-high nine rebounds. Christavious Gill added 13 points off the bench for the Privateers.

The Horned Frogs had another quick start - jumping to an early 9-3 lead - and hit all five 3-point attempts in the first half. Chauncey Collins, Parrish and Williams hit 3-pointers as the Horned Frogs outscored New Orleans 26-9 during the last eight minutes for a 54-33 halftime lead.

Michael Williams' jumper with six minutes left gave the Horned Frogs a 27-point lead. Gill had 10 points in the final six minutes as the Privateers finished the game on a 16-4 run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Horned Frogs improved to 13-1 under coach Trent Johnson when scoring at least 70 points. ... TCU's Kyan Anderson recorded seven points and five assists, snapping his streak of consecutive double-digit scoring games at 16. ... TCU shot 67.9 percent from the floor in the first half and forced 13 New Orleans turnovers.
