No. 16 Oklahoma State 91, Texas Tech 67: Junior guard Markel Brown scored a game-high 25 points as the Cowboys thrashed the host Red Raiders for their sixth straight victory.
The Cowboys (18-5, 8-3 Big 12) received 13 points and 12 rebounds from sophomore forward Michael Cobbins. Freshmen guards Phil Forte and Marcus Smart scored 14 and 10, respectively.
Freshman guard Dusty Hannahs led Texas Tech (9-13, 2-9) with 14 points.The Cowboys scored 24 of the first 30 points and led 55-34 by halftime. Oklahoma State scored the second half's first eight points as the Red Raiders went three minutes without a basket.
Cowboys coach Travis Ford was able to pull his starters at the under-eight timeout in the second half. Oklahoma State tied its highest scoring output of the season at 91 when 7-0 sophomore Marek Soucek hit a jumper with 2:06 to play.
