Gary Johnson equaled his season high with 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as No. 2 Texas cruised away from visiting Oklahoma State 73-55 on Wednesday.

Johnson, a senior forward, registered his third double-double of the season by making 7 of 8 from the field as the Longhorns (23-3, 11-0 Big 12) won their 11th straight game.

Jordan Hamilton scored 15 points, all in the first half, Tristan Thompson added 14 and Cory Joseph 11 for Texas, which hasn't lost since Jan. 8 against Connecticut in overtime.

Markel Brown scored 14 points and Matt Pilgrim had 14 rebounds for Oklahoma State (16-9, 4-7), which is 3-7 in its last 10 games.

Texas led by as much as 14 and settled for a 36-25 advantage after 20 minutes. The Longhorns’ defense forced 12 turnovers and Oklahoma State’s leading scorer, Marshall Moses, picked up three fouls and went 0 for 3 from the field in six minutes.

Moses scored 10 points in the second half, but the Cowboys never got closer than 11 the rest of the way.
