Pacers 108, Hawks 98: Paul George scored a game-high 26 points and made four 3-pointers as Indiana pulled away to hand the visiting Hawks their sixth straight loss.
David West recorded 17 points while Lance Stephenson chipped in with 13 points and seven assists for Indiana, which improved its league-best home record to 26-3. Roy Hibbert had 10 points and George Hill added nine points and seven assists for the Pacers, which scored 35 points off 22 Atlanta turnovers.
Kyle Korver led the way with 19 points for Atlanta, including 5-of-7 from 3-point range to extend his NBA-record streak with at least one from behind the arc to 121 games. Louis Williams contributed 18 points and Mike Scott added 13 off the bench while Cartier Martin scored 12 for the Hawks.
George scored 14 in the first quarter as Indiana led by as much as 31-9 before settling for a 12-point advantage after 12 minutes. Williams had 14 points and Korver 13 in the opening half as Atlanta battled back within three late in the second quarter, but the Pacers increased their lead to 57-49 at intermission.
Indiana scored 16 of the first 21 points to open the second half – eight by George -- before the Hawks rallied again to trail 87-75 going into the final quarter. Ian Mahinmi completed a three-point play and Danny Granger followed with a 3-pointer to push the lead back to 19 with 7 1/2 minutes left and the Pacers were on their way.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Pacers F Luis Scola added nine points and five boards in 15 minutes off the bench. … Atlanta starting F Gustavo Ayon went scoreless in seven minutes and did not play in the second half due to a shoulder injury while Hawks F DeMarre Carroll missed his second straight game with a hamstring injury. … The 35 points Indiana scored in the opening 12 minutes matched a season high for the first quarter. They also scored 35 against Golden State on Jan. 20.
