Raptors 108, Pelicans 101: DeMar DeRozan and Patrick Patterson scored 22 points apiece as host Toronto held off New Orleans in a back-and-forth affair.

Kyle Lowry recorded 19 points and a game-high 12 assists for the Raptors, who snapped a two-game losing streak. Terrence Ross chipped in 14 points, including a team-leading 4-of-5 3-pointers and Patterson added six rebounds and two assists to his season-high point total.

Tyreke Evans' 23 points and 10 assists off the bench led the offense for the Pelicans, who lost their second straight game. Anthony Davis had 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals and Brian Roberts contributed 18 points, including three 3-pointers, as New Orleans shot 6-of-12 from behind the arc.

It looked as though the Raptors would be well on their way after a 31-20 opening frame but New Orleans used a 26-7 surge to erase a 15-point deficit. The Pelicans pulled ahead 49-45 with 2:25 to play in the first half before missing their final six field-goal attempts before halftime as consecutive buckets from Jonas Valanciunas and Patterson sent the teams to the locker rooms knotted at 49.

After the break, Toronto restored order, capping a 24-9 run to open the third quarter with a 3-pointer from Ross to take a 73-58 lead just under seven minutes into the period. New Orleans finished the third with six consecutive points to reach the final frame down 82-70 and a 16-2 fourth-quarter spurt had the Pelicans within a single point with 6:51 remaining, but Lowry and Tyler Hansbrough responded by combining for 12 points in a 15-3 charge that served as the final dagger for the Raptors.
