Nets 90, Bucks 82: Brook Lopez scored a season-high 32 points as host Brooklyn upended Milwaukee.
Lopez was 11-of-13 from the field and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line as the Nets bounced back from consecutive blowout losses. Joe Johnson added 15 points and Alan Anderson scored 13 points.
O.J. Mayo scored 22 points and John Henson added 18 for the Bucks. Brandon Knight was the only other player in double digits with 10 points for Milwaukee, which has lost 14 of its last 16 games.
The Nets led by 12 early in the fourth quarter before the Bucks trimmed it to 84-78 on two free throws by Khris Middleton with 2:38 to go. Lopez answered with a dunk and Kevin Garnett hit a jumper and Brooklyn held off the charge.
Milwaukee led 40-39 at halftime despite Lopez’s 20 points. The center added eight points in third quarter as the Nets took a 65-59 advantage into the final stanza.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Brooklyn had a 44-30 edge in points in the paint. … Bucks F Caron Butler (knee) missed his sixth consecutive game. … The Nets were once again without injured veterans Paul Pierce (hand), Deron Williams (ankle), Jason Terry (ankle) and Andrei Kirilenko (back).
