Nuggets 101, 76ers 100: Corey Brewer scored 29 points and made three straight free throws with 2.1 seconds left as Denver rallied for its 14th consecutive victory and 16th in a row at home.
The Sixers led 98-90 with 2:06 left before Denver used an 8-2 run to cut the deficit to 100-98 with nine seconds remaining. After Evan Turner missed two free throws, Brewer was fouled by Damien Wilkins while shooting a 3-pointer.
Wilkins, who scored a season-high 24 points, had his final shot at the buzzer blocked by Anthony Randolph. Jrue Holiday had 18 points and 15 assists for Philadelphia, which lost its 15th straight on the road despite shooting 55.1 percent.
Andre Miller had 21 points and Andre Iguodala added 13 for the Nuggets, who clinched a playoff spot and remained percentage points behind Memphis in the race for third place in the Western Conference.
The Nuggets led 75-71 at the end of three quarters, but they managed two field goals in the first six minutes of the final period and allowed Philadelphia to grab a six-point lead with 4:56 remaining. Spencer Hawes had 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Sixers.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Nuggets F Wilson Chandler (separated left shoulder) and PG Ty Lawson (right heel) both missed the game with minor injuries. … Denver made 20-of-27 shots from the foul line compared to 7-of-11 for Philadelphia. … The Sixers fell to 3-14 in the second game of back-to-backs this season.
