Hawks 114, Pistons 103: Al Horford scored 23 points and tied a career high with 22 rebounds as visiting Atlanta rolled to its fifth win in six games.
Josh Smith also scored 23 points and Jeff Teague recorded 20 for the Hawks, who have won four straight road games. Kyle Korver went 5-for-7 from 3-point range to account for all of his 15 points.
Rodney Stuckey led Detroit with 22 points. Jonas Jerebko came off the bench to score a season-high 21 as the shorthanded Pistons dropped their third straight game.
It was a three-point Hawks' lead midway through the second when Teague scored six points to fuel an 11-2 run and help Atlanta take a 61-51 advantage into the break. Korver's 3-pointer with 4:56 left in the third ignited a 10-0 burst that left the Hawks with a commanding 86-60 lead.
The Pistons, who never got closer in the fourth than the final margin, played without point guards Will Bynum (suspension) and Brandon Knight (knee). Detroit had six fewer assists (31-25) and three more turnovers (17-14) than Atlanta.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Horford had 13 points and 13 rebounds at halftime. His final points came on his first 3-pointer of the season and the fourth of his career ... The Hawks moved into a tie with Brooklyn for fourth place in the Eastern Conference. ... Greg Monroe chipped in 15 points and a team-high eight rebounds for Detroit.
