Warriors 96, 76ers 89: David Lee collected 25 points and 12 rebounds as Golden State held off a late charge and dispatched visiting Philadelphia.
Jarrett Jack had 16 points and six assists off the bench while Carl Landry added 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Warriors, who have won 10 of their last 13 games.
Jrue Holiday recorded 21 points and 10 assists and Thaddeus Young added 19 points and 10 boards for the 76ers.
Golden State got five points from Lee and a pair of 3-pointers from Klay Thompson during a 14-4 run that closed the second quarter and sent the team into the locker room with a 57-42 lead. The Warriors pushed the advantage to 20 points with 4:58 left in the third quarter before Philadelphia began to fight back.
Holiday scored seven points in the final three minutes of the period to cut it to 80-71 entering the fourth quarter, and the 76ers drew as close as 93-89 when Holiday found Young for a basket with 24 seconds left. But Jack hit a free throw and Holiday committed a turnover, allowing Golden State to close it at the line.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Philadelphia G Dorell Wright, who was making his first trip back to Golden State after being traded to the 76ers over the summer, scored eight points on 3-of-9 shooting. … Philadelphia has dropped seven of its last nine games. … The Warriors went 21-for-26 from the free-throw line while the 76ers made only 14 of 23 attempts.
