Jazz 97, Magic 93: Paul Millsap scored 18 points and Gordon Hayward added 17 as visiting Utah rallied from a 16-point deficit 13 minutes into the contest to upend Orlando.

Al Jefferson had 12 points and nine rebounds while Derrick Favors also scored 12 as the Jazz notched their NBA-leading eighth comeback victory after trailing by double digits to split a four-game road trip and improve their away record to 6-12.

Arron Afflalo scored 20 points and Nikola Vucevic added 16 and 16 rebounds for Orlando. The Magic trailed by two points with 2.4 seconds left when Gustavo Ayon missed the first of two free throws. He missed the second on purpose, and Utah’s Jamaal Tinsley got the rebound and hit two free throws to seal it.

The Magic led by eight points late in the third quarter before Utah rolled off a 15-2 run over a four-minute span to take a 78-73 advantage on a three-point play by Favors with 10:11 remaining. Orlando regained the lead before Tinsley and Randy Foye hit back-to-back 3-pointers to give Utah a 91-87 lead with 2:18 to play.

Orlando hit 18 of its first 26 field-goal attempts over the first 16 minutes to take a 39-25 lead. The Jazz finished the half with a 15-3 run to trail just 47-46 at halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jameer Nelson and J.J.
