Spurs 114, Rockets 92: Tony Parker scored 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting and added seven assists as host San Antonio trounced Houston.
Tiago Splitter added 15 points, Tim Duncan recorded 12 and 12 rebounds and Gary Neal, Manu Ginobili and Patty Mills each scored 12 points for the Spurs, who have won three straight.
James Harden scored 29 points on 10-of-16 shooting while no one else managed more than 10 for the Rockets, who shot 38.9 percent in dropping their sixth straight road game. Houston also has lost six in a row in San Antonio.
The Spurs made quick work of the Rockets as Parker scored the first six points of the game and 10 in the first quarter. An eight-point lead at the end of the first period doubled less than four minutes into the second, and San Antonio settled for a 57-45 lead at the half.
Duncan scored eight points in the third quarter as the lead grew to as much as 85-60 late in the stanza. Ginobili scored four points and Mills knocked down a 3-pointer during an 11-2 burst to begin the fourth quarter, and the Spurs pushed the lead past 30 before coasting to the finish.
GAME NOTEBOOK: San Antonio improved to 3-0 since sending Duncan, Parker, Ginobili and Danny Green home instead of playing them against the Miami Heat last week. … Green, who missed the last game with a tight hamstring, returned to the lineup and scored six points in 18 minutes. … Houston committed 19 turnovers and was dominated on the boards, 50-37.
