Kevin Love led six players in double figures with 20 points and 16 rebounds as the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves made sure the host Washington Wizards stayed winless with a 93-72 victory on Sunday afternoon.

Ricky Rubio collected 13 points, a career-high 14 assists and six rebounds and fellow rookie Derrick Williams added 14 points and seven boards for the Timberwolves, who won their first road game since a 116-105 triumph at Detroit on March 2.

The Wizards (0-8) are the lone winless team in the NBA.

Minnesota made quick work of it on Sunday, using a 13-5 run to begin the second quarter to push the lead to double digits. The Timberwolves spread it out to 48-34 at the half and never looked back.

Minnesota put together its best defensive effort of the young season, holding struggling Washington to 35 percent shooting.

Wizards point guard John Wall went 3-for-10 from the floor and committed four turnovers. The second-year star has at least four turnovers in six of eight games.

Nick Young and Trevor Booker scored 14 points apiece to lead Washington.
