Russell Westbrook had 32 points and 11 assists and James Harden scored 26 points off the bench as the host Oklahoma City Thunder posted a 122-118 overtime victory against the feisty Phoenix Suns on Sunday night.
Kevin Durant scored 18 points for the Thunder, who have won three straight after a three-game losing streak.
Vince Carter scored 29 points but missed two crucial free throws for the Suns, who finished a season-long six-game road trip with a 4-2 mark. In addition, Phoenix won two of three in overtime.
Harden opened the extra session with a breakaway dunk, but his fast-break three-point play off a pass from Westbrook with 34.3 seconds left gave the Thunder a 116-115 lead. He then stole a pass and Westbrook split two free throws with 21.7 seconds left for a two-point lead.
Carter, who drained a tying 3-pointer with 9.2 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime, drew a foul attempting a 3-pointer with 17.4 seconds left. However, the 74-percent foul shooter missed the last two and the Thunder salted away the game from the line.
Channing Frye finished with 11 points and 15 rebounds before leaving with a shoulder injury midway through the fourth quarter.
