Matt Bonner drained seven 3-pointers for 21 points off the bench and Tony Parker added 24 points as the San Antonio Spurs dominated the second half en route to a 117-104 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
Manu Ginobili chipped in 21 points and Richard Jefferson finished with 18 for the Spurs, who outscored the Thunder 56-38 after the break to win their seventh straight game.
Oklahoma City led, 66-61, at the half but watched that lead evaporate as San Antonio opened the third quarter with a 14-6 run to grab the advantage. It was 82-80 heading into the fourth quarter in favor of the Spurs, who jumped right out with a 21-8 run to push it to 103-88 on Bonner’s 3-pointer with 7:07 left to play.
Bonner hit three 3-pointers during the surge and Ginobili added five points as San Antonio ran away with it.
Kevin Durant collected 23 points and seven rebounds and Russell Westbrook finished with 19 points and eight assists for Oklahoma City.
