Mike Conley had 20 points, nine assists and no turnovers, and the Memphis Grizzlies scored 68 points in the paint to beat the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder 107-101 on Monday.
Tony Allen had 20 points and Zach Randolph added 17 for the Grizzlies (36-29), who have won three of their last four and increased their lead to two games over Phoenix for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Memphis has won 11 straight when Conley has at least nine assists.
Russell Westbrook had 27 points, seven assists and five turnovers, and Kevin Durant added 23 points for the Thunder (39-23), who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
The Grizzlies’ 17-point lead was cut to 93-92 on a three-point play by Westbrook with 4:18 left, but Randolph and Sam Young countered with baskets for the Grizzlies, who improved to 22-9 at home.
