Blue Jays 7, Angels 5: Adam Lind hit two home runs and drove in four as Toronto snapped a three-game losing streak and handed Los Angeles only its second loss in its last 16 road games.
Lind's three-run homer off Angels starter Ervin Santana capped a five-run fourth and gave the Blue Jays their first lead after falling behind 2-0 on Torii Hunter's RBI single in the third and Erick Aybar's sacrifice fly in the fourth.
The Angels chipped away on Albert Pujols' RBI double in the fifth and tied it on backup catcher John Hester's two-run homer in the seventh.
Yunel Escobar put the Blue Jays on top for good when he laced a ground-rule double down the right-field line against Jordan Walden (2-2) for his third hit of the game. Lind added a solo shot leading off the eighth for his first multi-homer game since Sept. 18, 2011.
Carlos Villanueva, the 10th starter the Blue Jays have used this season, left with the lead after allowing three runs over five innings and striking out six. Francisco Cordero (3-4) recorded the final two outs in the seventh for the win, and Casey Janssen struck out two in a perfect ninth for his ninth save.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Lind's home runs were his fourth and fifth of the season and his first in the majors since May 9. He hit 94 homers from 2009-11. … Angels rookie Mike Trout extended his hitting streak to 11 games. … Walden is the first Angels reliever to be charged with a loss since May 30. ... Los Angeles' Mark Trumbo has 27 RBIs this month.
