The Yankees (1-1) picked up their first win of the season Tuesday night with a 6-4 victory over the Red Sox (1-1) at Fenway park in Boston.

In a reversal of Sunday's game in which the Yankees blew early an early lead, the Red Sox jumped out to a 3-1 lead after three innings but couldn't hold it.
Kevin Youkilis' sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first scored Boston's first run, and a two-run homer from Victor Martinez in the third gave the Red Sox the 3-1 cushion.
The Yankees put three runs on the board in the top of the fifth to take a 4-3 lead. With the bases loaded, Curtis Granderson scored on a fielder's choice. Then Alex Rodriguez connected for an RBI double and Robinson Cano plated a run with a sacrifice fly.
Martinez (2-3, HR, 3 RBIs) tied the score at 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth with an RBI double.
Nick Johnson got the game-winning RBI with a bases-loaded walk in the top of the eighth inning off Hideki Okajima (1-1), who took the loss. Cano homered in the ninth for insurance, and Mariano Rivera closed it out for his first save of the season.
A.J. Burnett allowed seven hits and three runs in five innings. Jon Lester gave up four runs on five hits and three walks in five innings. Alfredo Aceves (1-0) picked up the win with two scoreless innings of relief.
