Dodgers 4, Phillies 3: A.J. Ellis singled home the winning run with one out in the bottom of the ninth to lift host Los Angeles to the walk-off victory.
Hanley Ramirez had a three-run homer among his three hits and started the winning rally with a leadoff single against Justin De Fratus (2-3) before moving to second on a walk and scoring the decisive run by beating the throw on Ellis' single to right field.
Kenley Jansen (2-3) earned the win despite blowing the save in the top of the ninth, when the Phillies pushed across a run by taking advantage of errors by outfielders Yasiel Puig and Matt Kemp. An errant throw by Kemp on Jimmy Rollins' shallow fly ball to center allowed Michael Young to scamper home from third with the tying run.
Dodgers rookie Hyun-Jin Ryu was in line for the victory after giving up two runs on seven hits in seven innings. Phillies left-hander Cliff Lee allowed three runs - all in the first inning on Ramirez's 441-foot homer - on four hits while striking out nine.
Chase Utley hit a pair of solo homers for Philadelphia, which fell to 3-3 on its 10-game road trip. Ramirez's massive homer to straightaway center field extended his hitting streak to 12 games, during which he is 20-for-40.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Dodgers RHP Josh Beckett will undergo season-ending surgery to relieve pressure on a compressed never in his neck. Beckett (0-5), who is on the 15-day disabled list with a groin strain, is expected to be ready for spring training. ... The Phillies will push back Cole Hamels' next scheduled start two days to give him a mental break. Hamels is 2-11, matching his career high for losses. ... The Dodgers promoted RHP Jose Dominguez - who began the season serving a 25-game suspension for violating baseball's drug policy - and optioned RHP Peter Moylan to Triple-A Albuquerque.
