Dylan Larkin scored twice to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 4-2 win over the host Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night.

Lucas Raymond had a goal and two assists and Alex DeBrincat also scored for Detroit, which won its fourth straight and improved to 4-1-0 under new coach Todd McLellan. Defenseman Moritz Seider added three assists and Patrick Kane had two. Alex Lyon made 21 saves.

Josh Morrissey and Nikolaj Ehlers scored for Winnipeg, which was outshot 29-23. Connor Hellebuyck stopped 25 shots. It was the third consecutive loss for the Jets, who came into the game leading the league in points (56) and wins (27). Vegas beat Buffalo later Saturday to equal the Jets in wins and surpass them in points (57).

Ehlers brought Winnipeg to within 3-2 with 3:15 left in the game when he tipped in defenseman Neal Pionk's shot from the right point. Larkin sealed the win for the Red Wings on an empty-net goal with 29 seconds remaining.

Larkin's power-play goal gave Detroit a 1-0 lead 6:25 into the game. He beat Hellebuyck high on the long side with a snap shot from the inside edge of the right circle.

Raymond made it 2-0 with another power-play marker 4:33 into the second period when his one-time shot from the top of the left circle deflected in off of Pionk's stick.

Morrissey put the Jets on the board just 1:15 later when his one-time slap shot from the left point went in off the stick of the Red Wings' Tyler Motte.

DeBrincat made it 3-1 just over seven minutes into the third period when he tipped in Kane's pass off a broken play.

Detroit outshot Winnipeg 17-7 in the first period before the Jets turned the tables with a 10-3 advantage in the second.

Lyon made an outstanding glove save on Kyle Connor's snap shot from the right circle with 1.1 seconds remaining in the first.

Jets defenseman Colin Miller left the game after being hit in the face by a deflected puck late in the opening period.
