Viktor Stalberg scored goals 1:58 apart early in the third period to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to a 5-2 victory over the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.

Michael Frolik had a goal and an assist, Marcus Kruger and Dave Bolland also tallied and Ray Emery made 27 saves for Chicago, which improved to 4-0-2 at home this season.

With the game even at 2-2 after two periods, Stalberg picked up a loose puck along the right wing boards and cut to the slot before beating rookie Allen York at 4:26 for his first goal of the campaign. Shortly thereafter, Stalberg buried a cross-crease backhand pass from Andrew Brunette for a 4-2 advantage.

Kruger opened the scoring 2:51 into the game with his first career goal and Bolland scored a shorthanded goal late in the first for a 2-1 edge.

Vinny Prospal and Derek MacKenzie tallied while York stopped 33 shots in his first career start for Columbus, which is 0-6-0 on the road this season.
