Michael Devoe scored 26 points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out seven assists and recorded three steals to lead Georgia Tech to a 73-56 win over Nebraska on Wednesday in Atlanta as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

The Yellow Jackets (4-2) went on an 11-4 run at the beginning of the second half to break open a close game. Moses Wright ignited the spurt with a 3-point jumper and then followed with a jumper in the paint.

Wright finished with 18 points and nine boards.

Haanif Cheatham led the Cornhuskers (4-4) with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Cam Mack added 11 points and six assists, Thorir Thorbjarnarson had 11 points and seven rebounds, and Jervay Green also chipped in with 11 points for Nebraska.

After the Cornhuskers trailed 43-32, three free throws and a Green layup cut the deficit to six, but Georgia Tech answered and went back up by 13 on a dunk by James Banks III with just over nine minutes left in the game.

The lead swelled to 16 on Bubba Parham's layup with 1:46 left to go.

Nebraska finished the game making just 21 of 65 field-goal attempts (32.3 percent). Georgia Tech shot a bit better at 32 of 73 (42.3 percent).

Georgia Tech took a 32-28 lead into intermission. There were six lead changes and three ties as both teams struggled from the field with neither making 40 percent of its shots.

The two teams combined to make just 4 of 23 attempts from beyond the arc in the first half. The Cornhuskers finished 6 of 26 from 3-point range. Georgia Tech wound up 5 of 23.

The Yellow Jackets went 2-for-5 from the free-throw line in the first half while the Cornhuskers did not attempt a foul shot in the opening 20 minutes. Overall, Georgia Tech was 4 of 8 on fouls shots while Nebraska was 8 of 18.
