Georgia 52, Texas A&M 46: Nemanja Djurisic scored 13 points off the bench and the Bulldogs used a dominating defensive effort to top the visiting Aggies.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored all 10 of his points at the free-throw line for Georgia (12-11, 6-4 SEC), which picked up its fifth straight win to crawl above .500 for the first time since winning the opening game of the season.

Fabyon Harris scored 17 points and Elston Turner added 13 as Texas A&M (14-9, 4-6) fell for the sixth time in the last eight games. The Aggies, who knocked off No. 20 Missouri on Thursday, have not won back-to-back games since a four-game winning streak from Dec. 29-Jan. 12.

The Bulldogs came out strong on the defensive end right from the start and held Texas A&M without a field goal for the first 7:49 in opening up a 12-3 lead. The Aggies ended up going 4-for-22 from the field in the first 20 minutes as Georgia took a 25-16 lead into the break.

Texas A&M went over five minutes without a field goal at the start of the second half as well, allowing the Bulldogs to stretch the lead to 30-18. The Aggies would pull back as close as 35-32 with 9:40 left before Vincent Williams hit a 3-pointer to spark an 8-0 run.
