Brandon Roy scored 22 points to lead all five starters in double figures as the Portland Trail Blazers overcame a fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the host Los Angeles Clippers, 98-88, on Wednesday night.
Roy also grabbed 10 rebounds for the Trail Blazers (2-0), who trailed by four points with more than eight minutes remaining before rolling off 15 consecutive points to take control of the contest and spoil Blake Griffin's NBA debut.
Griffin had 20 points and 14 rebounds. The top overall pick of the 2009 draft and missed all of last season with a knee injury.
Marcus Camby had a stellar game for the Trail Blazers with 11 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks. LaMarcus Aldridge had 19 points and 10 rebounds, Nicolas Batum scored 15 points and Andre Miller added 14 for Portland.
Eric Gordon led the Clippers with 22 points and Rasual Butler added 16.
