Dirk Nowitzki had 34 points and 13 rebounds as the visiting Dallas Mavericks snapped a two-game losing streak with a 112-106 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
The Mavericks (48-20) moved back into a tie for second place in the Western Conference with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Golden State led by as many as 18 in the first half before Dallas rallied to within 59-53 by halftime. The score stayed close the rest of the way until Nowitzki took over in the final four minutes, scoring eight points.
Nowitzki was 12 of 12 from the free-throw line and the Mavericks made 24 of 27 free throws.
Jason Terry scored 19 points, Rodrique Beaubois had 18 and Shawn Marion scored 14 for Dallas. Tyson Chandler chipped in 13 points and eight rebounds.
Monta Ellis had 26 points, 11 assists and six rebounds for the Warriors (30-38), while David Lee had 22 points and nine rebounds. Acie Law added 15 points.
