Jason Richardson and Brandon Bass scored 18 points apiece as the Orlando Magic won their eighth straight game by trouncing the visiting Houston Rockets 110-95 on Friday.
Ryan Anderson scored 16 points and Dwight Howard added 13 points and 11 rebounds for Orlando (24-12).
Kevin Martin scored 27 points for Houston (16-20), which has lost four straight games.
Richardson was 7-of-8 from the field and made four 3-point baskets. Bass made 8 of 12 shots and grabbed nine rebounds. Hedo Turkoglu had 12 points while Jameer Nelson had 10 points and eight assists for the Magic.
Orlando outscored Houston 39-21 in the third quarter to turn a three-point halftime lead into a 21-point advantage. The Magic shot 51.7 percent from the field and had a 48-35 rebounding edge.
Luis Scola tallied 14 points, and Patrick Patterson had 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting for the Rockets, who shot 41.5 percent.
