Shayne Gostisbehere scored 1:01 into overtime to rally the Philadelphia Flyers past the visiting Arizona Coyotes 5-4 Thursday night.

Gostisbehere added an assist, Scott Laughton scored two goals while Dale Weise and Travis Konecny had one goal each as the Flyers came back from a 4-2 deficit to win.

The Flyers had secured seven of eight points on their just-concluded, four-game road trip, including a 5-2 win at Arizona on Monday.

Philadelphia goaltender Calvin Pickard allowed four goals on 18 shots and was lifted for Brian Elliott after the fourth goal. Elliott stopped all 16 shots he faced.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Michael Grabner each had a goal and an assist for the Coyotes. Brad Richardson and Derek Stepan also scored one goal apiece.

Arizona goaltender Darcy Kuemper made 26 saves.

The Flyers jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead with early goals from Konecny and Laughton. The lead was the first one at home for Philadelphia since Oct. 20.

The Coyotes got within 2-1 at 8:30 of the first period when Ekman-Larsson connected on the power play with a slap shot through several bodies in front of the goal.

Then at 1:51 of the second, Richardson equalized for the Coyotes with his fifth goal of the season.

The Coyotes took a 3-2 lead with their eighth short-handed goal of the season when Stepan broke free at center ice along the boards, skated in and scored at 6:14 of the middle period. Gostisbehere had the puck taken from him, and it resulted in a third goal for Arizona.

Amazingly, Arizona scored again short-handed for its ninth of the season just 24 seconds later when Grabner stole the puck and scored for a 4-2 advantage. Pickard was then pulled for Elliott.

Laughton drew the Flyers within 4-3 when he scored his second of the game at 2:21 of the third period.

Weise tied the game at 4 at 17:47 when he received a pass from Gostisbehere and scored. It was the first goal of the season for Weise, and Gostisbehere later secured the game-winner in overtime.
