Hunter Tyson scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Clemson pulled away for a 75-38 win over visiting South Carolina State on Wednesday night.
Tyson made four of five shots from the field for Clemson (3-0), which remained unbeaten in nonconference play. Olivier-Maxence Prosper added 11 points and five rebounds.
John Newman III and Aamir Sims added eight points apiece for the Tigers, who had 12 players score.
Sebastian Guitian scored 10 points to lead South Carolina State (0-3), which remained winless in a rare contest against its larger in-state opponent. Jemal Davis finished with eight points on 4-for-9 shooting.
Clemson posted a 36-13 advantage in points off the bench. The Tigers also enjoyed an advantage in the paint, where they outscored South Carolina State 36-24.
Clemson shot 46.6 percent (27 of 58) overall, compared with 29.1 percent shooting (16 of 55) for South Carolina State.
The Bulldogs never led in the game, as mistakes also proved costly for South Carolina State. Clemson had a 25-6 advantage in points off turnovers.
Clemson jumped to a 36-18 lead at the half. The Tigers shot 51.9 percent (14 of 27) from the field before the break, while South Carolina State shot 29 percent (9 of 31).
The lead became 28 points with 7:28 remaining in the second half when Lynn Kidd made a layup to make it 59-31 in favor of Clemson.
Clemson's next scheduled game is Dec. 9 at home against Maryland in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
South Carolina State will search for its first victory Saturday when it visits North Carolina-Asheville.
