Georgia 62, Texas A&M 50: Kenny Gaines scored all of his 14 points in the second half to lift the host Bulldogs over the Aggies.

Brandon Morris scored 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting and Donte Williams produced nine points and 10 rebounds for Georgia (12-10, 6-4 SEC). Charles Mann also had 10 points - all in the second half - as the Bulldogs improved to 3-0 in the series.

Jamal Jones scored 17 points to pace Texas A&M (13-10, 4-6), but was just 5-for-21 from the floor as the Aggies shot 33.9 percent. No other player reached double figures for Texas A&M, which was 1-for-19 from 3-point range in losing for the sixth time in seven games.

Gaines and Mann - Georgia's top two scorers entering the night - managed a combined two shots while Texas A&M did not even attempt a free throw in a sluggish first half that ended with the Bulldogs up 25-23. The Aggies were within one point five minutes into the second half before a quick 6-2 burst capped by a Marcus Thornton slam gave Georgia a 39-34 advantage approaching the midway point.

After Texas A&M reclaimed a one-point lead, Gaines scored five straight Bulldogs points and later answered three free throws by Jones with a 3-pointer to make it 52-47 with less than four minutes remaining. Jones hit another from the line before Gaines buried a jumper and Mann had a dunk to open up a comfortable eight-point bulge with less than two minutes to go.
