Morris jumpstarted a spurt early in the second half that turned a four-point lead into a 16-point advantage at the 10-minute mark. Kansas led by double digits the rest of the way and finished with a season high in points. Senior guard Mario Little came off the bench to score a career-high 17 points.

The Jayhawks trail the Longhorns by one game in the Big 12 standings. The conference's top two teams won't meet again until the Big 12 Tournament at the earliest.

Missouri (18-6, 4-5 Big 12) is headed the other direction and has lost three of four. Lance Bowers led three Tigers in double figures with 19 points. Missouri shot 51.7 percent from the field, but Kansas shot a blistering 60.7 percent.

Kansas played without freshman guard and third-leading scorer Josh Selby, who missed his second straight game with a stress fracture.
