76ers 100, Heat 87: Thaddeus Young led the way with 20 points as visiting Philadelphia bookended its season with wins against the two-time defending NBA champions.

Michael Carter-Williams chipped in 12 points, six rebounds and four assists for the 76ers, who went 19-63 - a run that started with a stunning home victory over Miami back on Oct. 30 - but still finished with the NBA's second-worst record. Brandon Davies had 11 points and Henry Sims notched 10 points and seven boards as Philadelphia won its final two games, marking its first winning streak since the first week of January.

LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Mario Chalmers did not play for the Heat, who wrapped up the regular season at 54-28, who are the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Dwyane Wade scored 16 points in 23 minutes for Miami, which lost six of its final eight games and will play the Charlotte Bobcats in the first round of the postseason, beginning on Sunday.

Philadelphia led 60-59 about 4 1/2 minutes into the second half before Elliot Williams scored six points in less than a minute to ignite a 24-7 run to end the quarter. Miami used an 11-0 burst to get within 89-82 on Ray Allen's 3-pointer near the seven-minute mark of the fourth quarter, but Sims and Young scored from close range before Williams' layup pushed the lead back to 13 with 3 1/2 minutes left.

James Anderson and Young each scored 10 first-half points as the Sixers led 55-51 at intermission. Wade had 14 points in 16 first-half minutes as he continued to recover from a hamstring injury, and the veteran guard finished 6-of-14 from the field with three turnovers.

GAME NOTEBOOK: James finished the season averaging 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists with a career-high 56.7 shooting percentage. ... Allen (11 points) finished with a season average of 9.5 points, the first time in his 17-year career that he finished in single digits. ... Carter-Williams, the favorite to win the Rookie of the Year Award, finished with season averages of 16.7 points, 6.3 assists and 6.2 rebounds.
