Spurs 102, Pelicans 95: Tony Parker had 32 points and nine assists as San Antonio rallied from a 14-point final-quarter deficit to beat host New Orleans.

Tim Duncan contributed 21 points, seven rebounds and a season high-tying six blocked shots as the Spurs won the opener of the nine-game rodeo road trip. Marco Belinelli added 13 points for the Spurs, who outscored the Pelicans 38-19 in the fourth quarter.

Anthony Morrow scored 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting off the bench and Eric Gordon added 19 for New Orleans. Anthony Davis had 17 points, 16 rebounds and four blocked shots but was just 6-of-21 from the field.

The Spurs trailed by 14 early in the final quarter and were down 82-70 before rolling off 12 straight points to tie the contest with 5:48 remaining. Duncan scored six points and Parker had four during a 10-2 burst that saw San Antonio take a 97-89 lead with 1:14 to go and the Spurs protected the lead.

The Pelicans used an 11-0 run to build a double-digit lead in the second quarter and were in front 54-42 at the break. Another 11-0 burst stemmed San Antonio’s third-quarter charge as New Orleans took a 76-64 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Davis has blocked four or more shots in each of his last seven games, which is a franchise record. … Spurs G/F Danny Green (finger) returned to action after a 10-game absence and had just seven points on 1-of-7 shooting. … Pelicans G Tyreke Evans played just five minutes before departing with a rib injury while C Jason Smith (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
