Bulls 92, Suns 87: Taj Gibson finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds as host Chicago won the day after trading away All-Star forward Luol Deng.

Joakim Noah had 14 points, 16 rebounds and six assists for the Bulls, who have won three straight and six of their last eight. D.J. Augustin produced 13 points and nine assists off the bench and Jimmy Butler also scored 13 points.

Goran Dragic led the Suns with 21 points while Gerald Green had 15. Phoenix was 6-for-23 from beyond the arc and was outrebounded 50-41.

The Bulls scored the final seven points of the second quarter and the first four of the third to take a 53-46 lead. It was still a seven-point margin entering the fourth before Chicago put together another key run.

Tony Snell hit back-to-back 3-pointers and Noah banked in a basket - all in less than a minute - to make it 78-65 with 10:07 remaining. Phoenix got within four points on Dragic's layup with just under four minutes left but was limited to one basket thereafter and Kirk Hinrich hit a late 3-pointer to help ice it.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Chicago acquired former Cleveland C Andrew Bynum in the Deng deal before waiving Bynum earlier Tuesday. ... Phoenix played its third straight game without G Eric Bledsoe (knee). ... The Suns avoided setting a season low in scoring when F Channing Frye had a tip-in with 4.4 seconds left.
