Wizards 88, Suns 79: John Wall led five players in double figures with 19 points and Nene added 17 and eight rebounds as Washington halted its four-game road losing streak.

Kevin Seraphin had 16 points and fellow reserve Trevor Ariza added 14 for the Wizards, who improved to 6-26 away from home and snapped a five-game skid in Phoenix.

Goran Dragic had 18 points and 11 assists, Wesley Johnson also scored 18 and P.J. Tucker registered 10 and 10 rebounds for the Suns, who were swept in the season series by Washington for the first time since 2001-02.

Phoenix carried a one-point lead into the second quarter before Washington took control with a 15-0 run. Seraphin scored six points during the burst, including a hook shot with 4:53 remaining that put the Wizards ahead 42-28, and Ariza contributed a jumper and one of his three 3-pointers of the period.

Trailing by 14 points at the half, the Suns got within three on a layup by Hamed Haddadi with 8:38 left in the fourth. But Washington scored the next seven points and cruised the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Suns have lost five of their last six games, including two to the Wizards. ... Washington evened its record at 1-1 on its four-game road trip and has won four of five overall. ... Washington was 6-for-15 from beyond the arc, with Ariza and F Martell Webster each making three 3-pointers.
