Wizards 114, Timberwolves 101: Jordan Crawford scored 19 points off the bench to lead six players in double figures as Washington sent Minnesota to its sixth straight road loss.

Bradley Beal added 16 points and John Wall and Nene scored 14 apiece for the Wizards, who have won six of nine and four straight at home.

Derrick Williams had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Timberwolves, who have dropped three straight and eight of nine to fall a season-worst six games below .500.

The Wizards started hot and never trailed as they shot a blistering 57.8 percent from the field (48-for-83) and were 8-for-17 from 3-point range.

Beal scored seven points in a span of 34 seconds to push the lead to 54-42 with 3:15 left in the half, and the Wizards kept Minnesota at a safe distance the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The teams split the season series for the third consecutive campaign. … Minnesota PG Ricky Rubio played a season-high 31 minutes in his 15th game since returning from a serious knee injury. … Wall made his first start of the season after coming off the bench in his first seven games upon returning from a knee injury.
