Knicks 108, Wizards 87: J.R. Smith erupted from a shooting slump to score 20 points off the bench as New York remained perfect at Madison Square Garden while keeping Washington winless on the road.
Smith shot 9-for-14 from the field and Carmelo Anthony scored 12 of his 20 points in the first half. Tyson Chandler matched Ronnie Brewer with 12 points and added a team-high 10 rebounds as the Knicks improved to 6-0 at home.
Jordan Crawford recorded 17 points off the bench for the Wizards, who showed little in the way of momentum following their lone victory of the season on Wednesday. Washington is 0-7 on the road.
After highlighting a four-point surge with a buzzer-beater to end the first half, Anthony kept up his hot hand by scoring his team's first five points to start the third.
New York recorded a 15-5 run in the third quarter to push its advantage to 86-63 and cruised to its first 11-win November since the 1972-73 season.
