Rudy Gay scored 24 points, Marc Gasol had 17 and the Memphis Grizzlies won their fourth straight against Detroit with a 98-81 victory over the host Pistons on Friday night.

Mike Conley added 14 points and 11 assists and Tony Allen had 13 points as the Grizzlies won consecutive road games for the first time in nearly two years.

Rookie Brandon Knight scored 22 and Tayshaun Prince added 14 for the Pistons, who committed 25 turnovers.

After scoring just four points in the opening four minutes, the Grizzlies took control and built a 10-point lead in the first quarter. They went ahead by as many as 21 on Conley’s jumper with 60 seconds left in the second, taking a 49-30 lead into halftime.

The Grizzlies shot 60 percent in the first half and forced eight turnovers, leading to 11 points.

Knight scored 10 during a 13-0 run in the third that got Detroit back within 64-57. Memphis restored order in the final frame, pushing the lead out to double digits and sending the Pistons to a fifth straight home loss, their longest streak since the 2009-10 campaign.
