Kevin Durant scored 24 points and Russell Westbrook had 21 and 12 assists to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 116-99 victory over the visiting Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
Serge Ibaka added 11 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots for Oklahoma City (7-4). Luis Scola had 26 points and eight rebounds for the Rockets (3-8).
Oklahoma City led, 64-53, at halftime and continued to enjoy a comfortable lead throughout the second half. The Thunder forced 17 turnovers.
D.J. White scored 12 points and Nenad Krstic added 11, seven rebounds and three blocks for Oklahoma City, which shot 50 percent (43-of-86) and committed just eight turnovers.
Ibaka again started in place of forward Jeff Green, who sat out for the fifth time in the last six games due to an ankle injury.
Kevin Martin scored 19 points and rookie Ishmael Smith added 12 on 5-for-6 shooting for the Rockets, who once again played without center Yao Ming and guard Aaron Brooks, both of whom have ankle injuries.
