Derrick Rose had 30 points to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 96-85 victory over the Sacramento Kings at Arco Arena on Saturday night.
Rose missed Friday night’s 98-97 loss in Denver because of a stiff neck but returned with a strong game, getting seven rebounds and seven assists for Chicago (9-6). The victory ensured Chicago's first winning record on its annual circus road trip since 1997-98.
Tied at 83 with 6:01 remaining, the Bulls went on an 11-0 run to pull away from the Kings (4-11), who have lost four in a row.
Luol Deng had 22 points and nine rebounds for the Bulls, while Joakim Noah had 17 points and eight rebounds.
Sacramento’s Tyreke Evans had 17 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Jason Thompson had 18 points and seven rebounds for Sacramento.
