Eagles 34, Jaguars 17: Nick Foles rebounded from a slow start to throw for 322 yards and two touchdowns, and Philadelphia's running back duo of LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles combined for 262 total yards as the Eagles steamrolled the visiting Jaguars in the second half.

Foles was 27-of-45, McCoy had 74 rushing yards and 41 through the air and Sproles scored on a 49-yard TD run for Philadelphia (1-0), which outscored Jacksonville 34-0 after halftime after a lethargic performance in the opening 30 minutes. Jeremy Maclin had a team-high 97 receiving yards, including the decisive 68-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter.

Jacksonville (0-1) led 17-0 early in the second quarter, but Josh Scobee then missed a field goal from 50 yards and had a 36-yarder blocked, giving Philadelphia life while Foles and the offense struggled. Undrafted rookie Allen Hurns had two early touchdowns and finished with four catches for 110 yards, while Toby Gerhart managed 42 rushing yards on 18 attempts in his Jacksonville debut.

The Jaguars dominated the first half behind two touchdowns from Chad Henne to Hurns - a 34-yard score six minutes into the game and a 21-yard strike for a TD just over two minutes later. Foles, who committed four turnovers all of last season, committed three in the first half - a pair of fumbles that set up the two Jacksonville TDs and an interception in the end zone in which he badly underthrew open tight end Brent Celek.

Sproles sparked Philadelphia in the second half, first with his long TD burst up the middle on 4th-and-1, drawing the hosts within 17-7 early in the third quarter, and then with a 22-yard punt return that set up Foles' 25-yard scoring strike to tight end Zach Ertz. The Eagles tied it up on Cody Parkey's 51-yard field goal early in the fourth before Maclin got wide open behind the defense and trotted into the end zone for the decisive score.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Eagles All-Pro G Evan Mathis left with a knee injury in the first half and did not return. ... Hurns became just the second player since 1990 to score a touchdown on each of his first two NFL catches, joining Charles Rogers of the 2003 Detroit Lions. ... The Jaguars went for it on fourth-and-inches from their own 29 with under six minutes left, but Henne (24-of-43, 266 yards, two touchdowns) missed Marcedes Lewis wide open in the flat, essentially sealing the loss. Parkey capitalized on the field position with a 28-yard field goal and Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox scooped up a fumble and rumbled 17 yards into the end zone with 1:23 left to cap the scoring.
