Broncos 51, Titans 28: Peyton Manning set an NFL record with his seventh four-touchdown passing game of the season and Matt Prater broke the all-time league mark with a 64-yard field goal to power host Denver.

Manning finished 39-of-59 for 397 yards and zero interceptions as the Broncos (11-2) set a franchise record for points scored (508) and maintained a one-game lead over Kansas City atop the AFC West. Eric Decker had eight catches for 117 yards and a TD and Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker and tight end Julius Thomas each had scoring receptions to help Denver erase an 11-point second-quarter deficit.

Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 172 yards with one touchdown and one interception and Shonn Greene ran for a pair of scores for Tennessee (5-8), which fell for the seventh time in nine games to deal a crippling blow to its fleeting playoff hopes. Rookie Justin Hunter had four receptions for a career-best 114 yards and a touchdown for the Titans, who allowed the Broncos to score on seven consecutive possessions.

A pair of scoring runs by Green helped Tennessee bolt to a 21-10 lead with 6:58 left in the second quarter, but Manning capped an 81-yard drive with an 8-yard TD pass to Julius Thomas before Prater uncorked his 64-yard bomb as time expired in the first half to pull Denver within 21-20. Prater eclipsed the league record first set by New Orleans' Tom Dempsey in 1970 of 63 yards and has since been matched by Jason Elam, David Akers and Sebastian Janikowski.

The Broncos continued the offensive onslaught in the second half, getting a 4-yard scoring pass to Demaryius Thomas and a 1-yard run by Knowshon Moreno to open a 34-21 lead midway through the third quarter. Fitzpatrick's 41-yard strike to Hunter got the Titans within six, but Prater booted a 19-yard field goal and Manning connected with Decker on a 20-yard TD pass to make it 44-28 with 9:12 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Manning went over 300 yards for the 11th time this season, tying New England's Tom Brady for the second-most in league history, and extended his own NFL record with his 82 games with at least three TD passes. ... Broncos WR Wes Welker exited with a concussion after setting a career high with his 10th TD reception, which made the Broncos the first team in history to have four players with at least 10 scores. ... Hunter had his second 100-yard outing in three games but Chris Johnson was limited to 46 yards and a TD on 12 carries.
