Oregon 59, Arizona State 56: Joseph Young led the way with 16 points as the Ducks held off the visiting Sun Devils.

Freshman forward Jordan Bell blocked a season-high eight shots to go along with eight points for Oregon (12-1, 2-1 Pac-12), which has won seven of eight. Elgin Cook added 14 points and Dillon Brooks scored nine for the Ducks.

Shaquielle McKissic scored a game-high 18 points but was off the mark on a 3-pointer at the buzzer and missed a pair of key free throws down the stretch for Arizona State (8-8, 0-3), which struggled to 15-of-26 from the foul line. Eric Jacobsen went 6-of-6 from the field en route to 13 points for the Sun Devils.

Savon Goodman converted a three-point play to put Arizona State on top and Jonathan Gilling buried a 3-pointer to make it a 51-47 cushion with under 4 1/2 minutes left. Bell scored on consecutive possessions to give Oregon a 57-55 lead and McKissic missed two free throws with a chance to tie it before Cook hit two free throws to seal it for the Ducks.

The Sun Devils held a 20-14 lead with under five minutes left in the first half to mark the biggest advantage of the game for either side. Oregon recovered to take a 25-23 lead into the break and was up 47-45 after Young knocked down a pair of free throws with just under six minutes to play.
