Ryan Evans had 16 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots as the Badgers beat the Hoosiers for the 12th consecutive time to advance to Sunday’s Big Ten championship game in Chicago.

Ben Brust scored 12 points and Jared Berggren and Sam Dekker tallied 11 apiece for fourth-seeded Wisconsin (23-10). The Badgers will meet Ohio State in the title game.

Christian Watford scored 14 points, Cody Zeller added 13 points and 11 rebounds and Victor Oladipo had 10 points for top-seeded Indiana (27-6), which has never won the Big Ten tournament.

The contest was tied at 43 when Dekker scored seven consecutive points to push Wisconsin ahead to stay. Watford’s basket with 3:42 left pulled Indiana within five before the Hoosiers went more than three minutes without scoring and the Badgers increased the lead to 65-53 on two free throws by Mike Bruesewitz with 38 seconds remaining.

Indiana led 22-16 with less than seven minutes left in the first half before Wisconsin rattled off 10 straight points as part of an 18-4 burst to take an eight-point lead. The Badgers led 34-31 at the break and scored the first six points of the second half before Indiana went on a 10-0 run to take a 41-40 edge with 13:27 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Badgers blocked 10 shots with Evans and Berggren (three) combining for seven. … Wisconsin shot 51 percent and held the Hoosiers to 38.2. … Indiana hasn’t defeated Wisconsin since Jan. 31, 2007.
