No. 6 Duke 89, Boston College 68: Freshmen Rasheed Sulaimon and Amile Jefferson combined for 41 points, setting career highs as the Blue Devils beat the visiting Eagles for the seventh consecutive time.

Sulaimon scored 27 points and Jefferson added 14 for Duke (24-3, 11-3 ACC), which got 19 points and 15 rebounds from Mason Plumlee. Plumlee's first rebound was the 1,000th of his career, making him the eighth Blue Devil to reach that milestone and just the third to also total 1,000 points and 150 blocked shots.

Ryan Anderson led Boston College (12-15, 4-10) with 23 points. Olivier Hanlan, who scored 20 in the Eagles' first meeting with Duke this season, tallied 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting.

Early defense made the difference for Duke, which jumped out to a 24-9 lead with 7:51 left in the first half. At that juncture, Boston College was 3-of-12 from the field and had more turnovers (10) than points.

Duke made 18 of 29 first-half field goals en route to a 51-27 halftime lead. Boston College never recovered, falling behind by as many as 29 points.
