Keion Bell matched a season high with 24 points as the Tigers routed the Bulldogs for their first road win in six tries this season.

Jabari Brown added 20 points and Alex Oriakhi grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds for Missouri (18-6, 7-4 SEC), which held Mississippi State to season lows in points, field goals (11) and shooting percentage (23.9).

Trivante Bloodman finished with 13 points and was the only player to score more than seven points for the Bulldogs (7-16, 2-9), who have lost nine straight.

The Tigers held Mississippi State without a point for the first 9:17 of the game, racing out to a 14-point lead until Colin Borchert ended the Bulldogs’ 0-for-10 start from the field with a 3-pointer. Bell answered with a 3-pointer of his own to spark a half-ending 20-7 surge to send Missouri into the break with a 34-10 advantage.

Missouri, which limited Mississippi State to 16 percent shooting in the opening 20 minutes, held the Bulldogs without a field goal for a span of 11:16 in the second half to extend the margin to 71-27 with 5:23 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The 36 points allowed by Missouri was the lowest mark by an opponent since the Tigers defeated Fairleigh Dickinson 87-36 on Dec. 12, 2009. … Mississippi State is on its longest conference losing streak since 1987. …The Bulldogs scored fewer than 40 points in a game for the first time since 1996.
