Wisconsin 87, Samford 51: Frank Kaminsky scored a career-high 16 points off the bench and the host Badgers coasted to their third straight victory.

Ryan Evans collected 14 points and 12 rebounds as Wisconsin (9-4) shot 52.5 percent and made 12 of 22 3-pointers. Mike Bruesewitz added a season-high 13 points, Sam Dekker contributed 12 points and Jared Berggren added 10

Rajion Kelly led the Bulldogs (3-11) with 16 points and Connor Miller added 12 as Samford shot 35.3 percent and was outrebounded 43-20.

Bruesewitz scored nine points in the first five minutes as the Badgers scored the first eight points and opened a 13-2 lead. Wisconsin opened its first 20-point lead on George Marshall's 3-pointer with 6:31 remaining, and took a 47-19 halftime lead thanks to 13 points from Bruesewitz.

Wisconsin never led by less than 30 after Evan Anderson's three-point play opened a 61-29 lead with 13:21 remaining. The Badgers briefly held a 41-point lead on Kaminsky's 3-pointer with 4:45 to play after a sequence where they maintained possession for over a minute after grabbing seven straight offensive rebounds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Brusewitz made his first start since suffering a concussion on Dec. 4 against Nebraska-Omaha. ... Wisconsin held an opponent under 20 points in the first half for the fifth time this season. ... The Badgers have held 16 straight visiting opponents under 60 points.
