No. 1 Duke 90, Santa Clara 77
: Seth Curry scored a career-high 31 points and Mason Plumlee had 22 as the Blue Devils survived an upset bid by the visiting Broncos.

Nine days after picking up its 100th straight win at home against non-conference opposition, Duke (12-0) was in danger of seeing the streak end before putting together an impressive second-half surge. Curry scored 18 points after the break while Plumlee had 13 rebounds overall for his eighth double-double.

Kevin Foster scored 18 of his 29 points before halftime for Santa Clara (11-3). Evan Roquemore chipped in 17.

Foster had 12 points during a 20-6 run late in the first half that allowed the Broncos to get to within two points at the break. His first basket of the second half was a dunk with 16:31 left that gave Santa Clara a 45-41 advantage.

A three-point play by Plumlee moments later ignited a 13-1 Duke burst and Santa Clara, saddled with foul trouble, could not stem the tide. Curry had a pair of 3-pointers early in the run and added three layups in less than two minutes later in the half. The Blue Devils' largest lead at 67-50 came on a Quinn Kelly basket with 8:28 to go.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Foster, a senior, scored a career-low two points on 0-for-8 shooting in his last game. ... Duke's last loss at home against a non-conference opponent was on Feb. 26, 2000, against St. John's. ... Plumlee became the 61st player in Blue Devils history to reach the 1,000-point mark.
