Mark Lyons had 17 points and a season-high seven assists and freshman forward Grant Jerrett posted a season-high 15 points as the host Wildcats improved to 9-0 for the first time since 1987-88.

Solomon Hill had a strong all-around game for Arizona, producing 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and a career-high six steals. Brandon Ashley contributed 14 points and Nick Johnson had 12.

Warren Niles scored 22 points and Shawn Glover matched his season high with 18 for Oral Roberts (5-5). Niles came in averaging 20.9 points, which ranked 13th in the nation heading into this week.

Jerrett made 6 of 8 field-goal attempts, including all three from 3-point range. Arizona entered this week shooting 39.9 percent from 3-point range, 20th-best in the nation, and finished 8-for-16.

Arizona scored the game’s first five points and never trailed, stretching its first-half lead to as many as 16 points before taking a 45-31 advantage into the break. The Wildcats then scored the first 11 points of the second half to build a comfortable cushion.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jerrett started the second half in place of 7-foot freshman center Kaleb Tarczewski. … Hill had nine steals in the previous four games. … Niles entered the game shooting 51.9 percent from beyond the 3-point arc, tied for sixth in the nation. He finished 5-for-7.
