Xavier 63, Purdue 57: Freshman guard Semaj Christon scored a career-high 25 points as the visiting Musketeers rallied in the second half to continue their recent dominance over the Boilermakers.

Christon scored 15 of his points in the second half as Xavier (6-1) rallied from a 29-26 halftime deficit and held Purdue to just 35 percent shooting.

The Boilermakers (3-4) were held without a 3-point field goal as they went 0-for-17 from behind the arc.

Justin Martin added 12 points as Xavier defeated Purdue for the fifth straight time and sent the Boilermakers to their second home loss of the season.

Terone Johnson posted a double-double for Purdue with 19 points and 10 rebounds while his younger brother Ronnie added 12 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Xavier has won seven straight games against teams from the Big Ten since 2007, three of those coming against Purdue. ... The Musketeers, who ranked among the nation's leaders in field goal percentage (53.6) coming into the game, shot just 43.4. They did make 13 of 16 from the free-throw line (81.3). ... Purdue leading scorer D.J. Byrd was held scoreless, going 0-for-9 from the field. He also missed his only free-throw attempt.
