ARIZONA STATE 56, USC 52: Jordan Bachynski had 19 points and nine rebounds as the host Sun Devils snapped a four-game losing streak.

Trent Lockett added 11 points as Arizona State (9-20, 5-12 Pac-12) swept USC for the first time since the 1994-95 campaign.

Byron Wesley had 22 points and Maurice Jones scored 12 on four 3-pointers for USC (6-23, 1-15), which has lost seven consecutive games and is winless in nine road conference games.

The Trojans pulled within 53-52 on two free throws by Greg Allen with 5:41 remaining but never scored again. Meanwhile, Arizona State went more than seven minutes without scoring until Chris Colvin struck with a three-point play with 19.4 seconds left.

Arizona State shot 60 percent in the first half en route to a 31-26 halftime lead. The Sun Devils led by 11 before USC finished the half with a 7-1 run.

Arizona State shot only 37.5 percent in the second half and finished at 46.2 percent. USC shot 39.6 percent.
